Primarily, I hold power accountable with my writing. I have written about how a mega-corporation tried to silence a scientist who presented evidence that they may be polluting a major river. I have written about how an extremely wealthy family skirted their own agreements, and the National Park Service's policies, to threaten development on a protected wilderness island. I have written about the fight of a forgotten Native American population to be remembered during a celebration of the ruin of their culture. I have also written about education, food, agriculture, music, government and culture.
